OUT OF SCHOOL PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

NUTRITION

Students team up with a licensed dietitian/nutritionist to explore healthy food choices, lifestyle habits, and the body's needs for physical and mental activities.

S.T.E.A.M.

We assist students with academic instructions in Math and Language arts grades 4th – 8th grade in support of closing the academic gap of students in need.

HEALTH & FITNESS

Students participate in warm ups, skill drills, obstacle courses, strength training and basketball fundamentals.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTION

Additional instruction is designed to extend the nutrition and fitness lessons within the areas of health, anatomy and physiology.

EDUCATION

Students receive tutoring and integration of educational activities as they relate to the core subjects of Math and Language Arts on and evidence base software program.

GREAT SUPPORT

Students set goals as they pertain to personal and team development.

Promoted from 8th grade at Faiss Middle School and will be attending Sierra Vista High School.
During her time at Faiss, she was inducted into the National Junior Honors Society.
She was recognized amongst her peers and received the following awards:
1. Distinguished scholar award for having 4.0 all 3 years
2. Academic excellence Award
3. Presidents Education Award program (outstanding academic excellence in orchestra)
